Brilliant option near Dupont with clean, massive rooms.

Exceptional, with very few notes. The rooms are huge, with excellent quality furnishings and well-appointed modern decor. Everything felt elevated, clean and comfortable. Daily housekeeping and high quality toiletries, linens, and towels meant each night had that clean sheet feeling. Free happy hour each evening in the gorgeous atrium lobby was a highlight. The breakfast was well stocked, even the items were a bit more on the basics side.
In all, I can really think of no better hotel in this class of hotels that I have stayed at this year. Well done - will be back, next time I’m in DC!

Great for families!

This was such a great hotel for our family of 4 with 2 young boys. We loved being able to get breakfast in the morning before we went sightseeing. Then when we came back in the evening, there was a daily reception with free drinks and snacks. We weren't sure we would be back every day by 5:30 but after all the walking all day, we were ready to relax and the reception was a great way to do that!
Our bed was super comfy and having the ability to close off the door to the living room is a very nice feature. The room is very spacious and updated. The staff was awesome and location is close to 4 different Metro lines (red @ DuPont Circle & Blue/Orange/Silver @ Foggy Bottom).

DC Getaway

At the district, which is the top of an embassy suites. We got the embassy suites breakfast and happy hour, and enjoy the beautiful well-appointed immaculate spacious room! Staff was very helpful and nice.

Good location and decent sized room. Half block from Carnegie Hall!

Comfortable room with friendly staff. King bed and long table against wall with room for coffee pot and (when you request it) microwave. Good sized mini fridge under the table/wall unit. Comfy lounge chair as well as office chair - great bedside tables with lights underneath for easily finding your way to and from the bathroom at night. No view to speak of.

Best Location in DC

Spent a week in DC visiting the monuments and museums. We had a great stay at the District. In the morning they offered a hot breakfast which was a prefect start to a day exploring. In the evenings they offered a happy hour! Both bartenders were amazing! Highly recommend this location.
