We were so blessed to stay here! The location is gorgeous and there is nothing around except for the rooms (there are 6 total, plus a guest house) and a cafe, which wasn't open during our stay but it was the middle of winter, so we were prepared for it. We rented out the two suites, and both were awesome! The heaters worked great, the rooms were very clean, and the kitchenettes were exactly what we needed for some basic groceries. One bed was a little lumpy and sagged in the middle, but the other 3 (again, 2 suites) were comfortable and we slept well. There's a big field by the property, so I imagine during the summer or fall it would be a nice place for kids to play. There is no tv (which we appreciated, but there is wifi. It's clear that the owners take pride in their place, and we would definitely stay here again! Note: there is no person on-site to deal with, but they were very responsive to texts. They also offer housekeeping upon request, so we always had what we needed. Finally, the location is right near the edge of Olympic National Park, so it's very convenient to travel into the Lake Crescent or Elwha Valley areas, and it saves about 20 minutes on a drive to Rialto Beach or beyond compared to staying in Port Angeles proper. BUT, the city is only 20 minutes away so it's not hard to find "civilization" if needs must. Overall, definitely a great place and we recommend it!

The stay itself wasn't too bad. However, the service from the owners was lacking. I am from out of country and had asked prior to checking in for them to email me instead of texting as I wasn't sure I would be able to access my texts. They did not listen and sent the check-in instructions to my phone. It took me over 2 hours to be able to check in as I didn't have the instructions they text me, they weren't on site and I wasn't able to call or text them.
When they finally responded, they told me they had texted me the instructions/door code and didn't seem to care.
I also didn't see the heater in the room right away so emailed them to ask where to access heat. I never received a response.

Great, very cool, motel near Olympic NP

This place. I loved it. It was quiet and safe and had Emu's on the property! We stayed here for 2 nights while we explored Olympic NP. It was so close to the park and extremely quiet at night. The bed was super comfy, and room was clean and awesome. Bathroom had everything you would need. Communicating any issues with the staff was easy and they took care of anything asap. And by issues I mean I ran out of coffee in the room, and when we returned they had a bag in the room with more coffee and cream! I loved the quaintness and quiet each night after returning from
Exploring Olympic NP. Would absolutely stay here again. Loved it!

Never saw or met anyone that worked there. Was texted a combination to get into the room. No TV.

Nice, cute motel on the way to Lake Cresent, Olympic National Park.

The Emerald Valley Inn is a small, cute and very clean motel on Highway 101, near Lake Crescent, Olympic National Park.
It has Granny’s Cafe on the grounds with pretty good food as well.
Overall, a very nice place to stay. Especially liked the chickens and emus on the property.
