This hotel is being updated. Our suite was very nice with all new everything, and the bedroom space was quiet - no hallway noise at all. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. The onsite restaurant serves breakfast which was quite good. Overall we had a great experience during our 3 day stay in the area to visit with family. Highly recommend.

Another terribly run hotel

Forced to stay here as part of a soccer tournament.
Bathroom door broken so wouldn’t close (went to front desk twice and told they’re aware and waiting on parts)
Bathroom shower head was broken and kept sliding down so you had to bend over to wash hair.
People in the rooms on either side of the hall “having a party” which included yelling and running in halls and smoking marijuana, leaving half eaten cake and wet dirty towels in hallway. Calls to front desk who said sorry we don’t allow that and nothing more was done- this morning told it was a wedding party.
This lack of service and accountability for poor quality rooms seems to be the standard now. And as usual, management is never on property or available…

I would like to clarify that our managers were on the property during your stay, and we regret that we were unable to fulfill your request for a suite with two double beds. Additionally, we have no record of complaints about the shower head, only about the pocket door. We apologize for any miscommunication and the delay in resolving the issue with the bathroom door.
Regarding the disturbances caused by other guests, we understand how frustrating this must have been. Our front desk team did their best to address the situation, but we regret that it was not resolved to your satisfaction. We will review our procedures to ensure better handling of such incidents in the future.

Love the renovations!

I have stayed here numerous times and attended business functions over many years. The newly renovated suites are beautiful. We enjoy the coffee in the lobby, snack shop and the restaurant. Having moved from the area recently, this has been our “go to” hotel to stay when we return. Since our move, we have stayed at various other hotels and have found the hotels we’ve stayed in this area of South Jersey have all been disappointing in regard to cleanliness, property maintenance, and safety. This property has met our expectations.

This must have been a very nice hotel in the 80's, but it is completely run down now. Everything seemed to be broken and in disrepair. They are finally remodeling (many years too late). The hotel was filthy, except for the main lobby. There was construction debris everywhere and we had to navigate around old, corroded, HVAC units in the hallways outside of each room under renovation (numerous). There were nails and screws on the floors everywhere. Everything in the pool area is missing paint, rusty, or corroded. The pool and hot tub have lots of mildew. The pool area is so cold, that fog forms on the water over the pool (TRULY!). The pool was warm though. There were also no towels in the pool area, so we had to freeze going to the front desk, for them to call housekeeping. We ate dinner in the restaurant from their VERY limited menu, and it was fair at best. A pretzel, two sandwiches with fries, and two alcoholic drinks were over $100, with tip. You've got to be kidding me... We stayed in a "suite" which was a joke. It was only a suite because it had two tiny rooms. Double Tree charged full price (over $200) for this shame of a hotel visit. It wasn't even worth $75 a night. Hilton needs to send an inspection crew to this property immediately. It was a disgrace and does not meet the Hilton standard in any way. I will say that the restaurant/bar staff were very pleasant, as well as the housekeeper that brought pool towels. DO NOT stay here until the construction is over!!!

Do better

Front desk agent unwelcoming, unfriendly. Very uncomfortable individual!
The front desk agent corey was horrible at mt laurel nj double tree
He was unprofessional
He didn’t try to listen to me the customer
He was closed minded
He treated me and my family poorly . He took financial choices he saw fit instead of understanding what was going on. MONEY WAS NO PROBLEM HE WAS
He was very comfortable making us uncomfortable.
I Spoke to manager of hotel and she also seemed comfortable with our mistreatment and shared he was award winning employee instead of offering a solution maybe a fake apology.
I cant imagine this unless it was me and my family personally he didnt like for some reason. I came in humble and was greeted with pure nastiness , arrogance.
Please train employees to be better -
This situation could have been handled so differently but he was so rude and belittling it was so hard to face.
