Our stay was perfect! The location can’t be beat with a block from the beach and CVS right next door. They also have a small bar and a little market inside the hotel which was great. They were very accommodating and the room was huge and had everything we needed! Highly recommend!

When we arrived some letters of the lighted sign was out. We left 3 days later and all of “Westover” lights were burnt out. The place was decent and had a great full size kitchen equipped for cooking. If you’re planning on working here the internet is horrible and spotty at best. The Murphy bed is ok with flat pillows. Don’t bother putting the bed up to sit on as the couch underneath is from the 1980’s and pretty questionable. The lobby is stark bright white and devoid of soul. The floors in the unit are never mopped and dirty upon arrival. We asked the front desk for a broom and told him that our floors were dirty. No apology, he just handed us a broom. 2 of the most uncomfortable kitchen stools ever. The Venetian blinds keep out zero sunlight so bring an eye mask. The fan in the bathroom connected to the light is oddly loud. The lighting in the unit is blindingly bright. Elevator sounded like it crashed upon landing on the first floor every time. Don’t use the washer/dryer in unit. Clothes came out dirtier than when they went in and we had some pretty dirty clothing from outdoor excursions. Location is great but overall the hotel is pretty underwhelming. Decent price considering the location but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Never again!

The hotel was booked through an accommodation platform, but upon arrival, we were presented with a bill that was over $60 higher than our reservation price. The hotel staff refused to discuss this issue, and I had to pay the full amount and file a complaint later (which wasn't easy). Although we eventually got the price difference refunded, it was an unnecessary hassle. The hotel also arranged a taxi to the port for us, charging an outrageous $95. The hallways smelled of fish, and the room's soundproofing was terrible. Never again.
The review highlights several major issues:
1. Pricing discrepancy and poor customer service
2. Overpriced taxi arrangement
3. Unpleasant odors in common areas
4. Poor sound insulation
5. Overall negative experience leading to a "never again" conclusion

Excellent accommodation at reasonable price

I booked a mono environment for my husband and I for 2 nights and was given a larger apartment for 4 people. I guess there were empty apartments and that's why they gave me a better one.
It had a double bed with 2 light tables, closet, chest of drawers, desk with chair, 2 large armchairs and a low table, a piece of furniture with tv upstairs and a large kitchen with bar with 4 seats, refrigerator with freezer, kitchen with oven, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, dishwasher and kitchen utensils. The comfortable bathroom with an excellent shower. I really would have stayed here a week.
The wifi worked very well and the TV had many channels.
It is very easy to get from the airport with the 150 bus that stops 2 blocks from the hotel and return to it.
Across the street there is a very practical CVS to buy provisions. Inside the hotel there is also a shop.
The hotel offers service on the beach which is a block from parasol, 2 loungers and towels, which is really very useful.
It does not include breakfast but with such an equipped kitchen one can easily prepare it.
To go downtown South beach we took the free trolley that passes a block from the hotel on Indian Creek and dropped us off at Collins and Lincoln. To return we took him in front of where he left us and came back for Collins and left us 1 block from the hotel.
At the reception there is always only one person who changes according to the schedule. They are friendly and answered my doubts about transportation. The only thing I didn't like was that they didn't tell me anything about the beach service until I asked because I knew it included it.
On the last day as my flight left at night I left the bags at the hotel and returned in the afternoon and changed into the reception bathrooms which are large and comfortable.
I really loved the place and for a city as expensive as Miami the price was not bad. It was lower than small hotel rooms in South beach without all the amenities this hotel has.
When I return the first option I will consider if I find a good rate will be this place.
