no towels t.v didn't work or maybe I didn't know which remote was the right one. The room only had a bed that was the only thing good about this place also no towel rack to hold the towels. Thank God I pck my own towels

Uninviting presence and the door to the room was broken and could only be shut if lifted and forced.

Don't know why this Motel 6 often gets a bad rap online (or similar ones across the US I've stayed in over 3 decades as a touring musician). This one's in my town & my go-to when I need a room. Stayed here many times. I've also suggested it to friends.
First I'll say that M6 continues to be what it's always been: a no-frills, budget motel. It's one of the most affordable around if you just need a safe, clean place to sleep & don't care about all the fancy stuff that upscale places use to justify their upscale prices. You getting breakfast here? Nope. There's 20+ joints within two blocks.
I've seen complaints about crime and police presence - it's in the CITY, y'all. It comes in from the streets and staff deals with it as best they can, and they do it professionally. I've seen WAY worse in other cities, and not just at M6.
Speaking of staff, they've always been courteous and helpful to me. Saw them get yelled at by rude customers quite a few times, and take it all in stride. I know they try to help the less-fortunate as best they can cuz I've seen them do it more than once. The few times I've had a minor issue, like dead remote batteries (once); or needed a blanket (once) - I respectfully let them know, and they were on it in minutes. Tbh, I don't envy their jobs cuz they deal with a LOT of BS. This is a slice of the real world here, folks, if you can't handle it, go stay in the suburbs. I love it.
PS. Never saw a bed bug or a roach. Ever. Whoever says otherwise be crazy!

I got less than what I paid for.
#1 - Key cards didn't work. Got another room but 2nd day keycards don't work again.
#2 - Cockroaches in my unit.
#3 - Lights doesn't work in my unit.
#4 - Wall mounted nightstand between beds fell onto floor. No injuries but should be a safety concern.
#5 - Bathroom door hinged separated 1/4." Door could fall anytime. Safety issue?

The power kept going off around 1:00 in the morning I kept jumping off jumping off and it keep getting colder and colder in the room I asked the lady to compost the room she said she had no right to do that I really like this motel it's better than the other one but I don't know if I want to stay there anymore they have power issues I was watching TV and the power went out back to back and the lady complained about going to flip the breakers
