Solid stay. Definitely an older hotel and looked worn down. However, it’s in a good spot for food and a quick uber or walk to United Center.

Crown Plaza exceeded my expectations by all means. I felt home for a rather long stay of six nights. One bonus thing was the Greek taverns for good food and two grocery stores nearby. Access to public transport is easy, Art Institute is a mere 15 minutes by bus. The only down side is the highway noise, which is something to keep in mind if you are too sensitive about it for your sleep. Finally, the cafe/rest in the lobby is just for the occassion. Enjoy your stay.

People at the front desk were very kind and easy to check in. Room was very nice, clean, and comfortable.

The hotel was very comfortable and in a great location. The only downside was that we were led to believe that parking was included in our stay. We were told to park in hotel area of parking garage and that we would just need a ticket stamp to validate. Well we were slammed with a $57 bill which we were not expecting. At check in we should have been clearly told about the additional parking fee.

The only thing you are paying for at this hotel is for convenience. The room was dated, the sockets barely worked. The sink in the bathroom would fill to the top when brushing teeth. The room was clean. We had an issue with the heat in the room the late night front desk agent couldn’t be bothered to deal with it. So it was a little cold. I paid 500 for the room I was expecting a little more for the price. But the restaurant in the hotel breakfast was really great. It was close to everything but parking was such a nightmare.
