Anniversary break

We had a lovely stay. We were given a choice of rooms which was helpful. It was very spacious. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Facilities in the rooms are replenished. Nice dining room too with a l good abbreakfast of cereals, fruit, bread and then full English.

Highly recommended. Clean, comfortable and great location!

Great location close to the town and pier and walking distance of west cliff pavillion. Owner was really welcoming, hotel spotless, breakfast cooked to order. On street parking right outside. We had a great time and would definitely stay again.

Ridiculously steep staircase of 5 flights, no help with luggage.

We were not told when booking that the only double room with single beds was at the top of the hotel, you had to climb 5 steep flights with the last being an awkward spiral type staircase.
There was no one to help with your luggage.
The elderly person who greeted us was not very friendly, and looked quite miserable.
The actual room was ok, but very small.
The beds were extremely close together.
There was no one available to get extra water for tea/coffee.
The breakfast was ok, very small cooked breakfast compared to what other hotels offer, but tasty fine.
On leaving I asked if I could use the toilet on the ground floor, I was told I could not, that I would have to go up and down the 5 flights again.
Instead, there was a hotel on the corner that I had to use.
We would not go back, or recommend.

Very nice small hotel, we were given a better room free as it was not booked. Nice spacious room and excellent shower. The breakfast was very good quality with a wide choice of options. Please consider using non single use bathroom supplies.

Stunning Hotel

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Debbi was a fantastic host. We were offered an upgraded room on arrival and she was extremely friendly and helpful. Lovely warm, comfortable room with well stocked teacoffee tray. Gorgeous bathroom with plenty of luxurious toiletries and fabulous power shower. Everything was spotless. Well cooked and delicious breakfast. I couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough. Will definitely be back. First class.
