Great place to stay in Lodon

An excellent hotel in an excellent location. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well looked after. The best breakfast. Exceptional value for money. On top of all that, the staff are amazing. Would 100% recommend

Stayed in: Mar 2025

On arrival we were fortunate to get a parking space as advertised it’s on a first come basis. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was great. Room was clean and spacious on arrival.
Unfortunately on our return to room 152 in the evening after the show, we were greeted by a filthy shower tray, looks like dirty water had come back up the drain and we were luck it didn’t flood the floor. We didn’t mention anything at the time as it was midnight and we were too tired to deal with it.
Don’t be put off staying here the hotel is well placed and very comfortable.
This hopefully was an isolated incident.

Relaxing at a great hotel

As always I loved staying at the Clarendon hotel. The staff are friendly and the room was comfortable. I stay at the Clarendon on a regular basis.
It is so convenient for my stay in Blackheath as there are no other hotels in Blackheath.
It is convenient for public transport locally and to get me to London for west end shows.

hotel visit for work.

hotel is tired and needs updating , better bar and restaurant facilities is needed and menu is poor for a hotel of this size and where it is.Bed room cold and need updating navigating to get to rooms is a nightmare as some are on other floors and needs better signage and directions overall. owners of hotel need to sort this out as it could be abetter place to stay.

Fantastic independent hotel ideal for 02 Arena

Absolutely fantastic independent hotel. Ideal for getting to and from the O2 Arena which was the purpose of our trip. Hotel in an easily accessible location set on a beautiful heath. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Arrived early and was checked in early which was really appreciated.
The room a Crown Triple with a Double bed and a single bed was lovely and clean. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. Small bathroom with a shower but more than adequate for our needs. Room overlooked the central garden of the hotel. Free car parking. Bus 108 from right outside the hotel is a 24 hour bus service that goes to and from the 02 Arena. On arrival back at the hotel late in the evening we had drinks at the lovely bar and platters of sandwiches as we were a little hungry. The Black Heath surrounding area itself was very nice too. Great places to eat and drink. Breakfast the following morning was superb. Served in a lovely restaurant. Buffet style and there was nothing that you could want for that was missing from the buffet. Food piping hot and lots of choice. Would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.
