A place to stay for a couple of days.

Charming stay at a historic YHA by a beautiful lake—perfect for a swim! Beds are small but comfortable, and the friendly staff make you feel at home. A cozy spot with a fantastic, scenic location.
Food was limited with Pizza and soup but apart from that it’s self catering with appropriate equipment.

Amazing place to go

One of the most beautiful places I've been to. Scenery second to none, very clean rooms, toilets and showers. Great staff Mike, Sally Ann and James nothing was too much for them including getting the log fire up and running in the library 5*****

What an amazing hostel! Perfect location and lovely building, The panelled lounge full of lovely leather sofas, books and a roaring fire was particularly fine. Staff were friendly and accommodating, the beer was good and the full english veggie breakfast the ideal precursor to some stiff walking.

Great Stay

A beautiful place to stay, fantastic views across Wast Water and lovely old building with ornate fireplaces and ceilings. It was warm and cosy. Our host Mike was great. Very welcoming and went out of his way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.

Another great stay at Wasdale Hall yha

Excellent stay,staff were friendly and helpful and as always the hostel was impressively clean, and a most relaxed and pleasant atmosphere throughout the hostel which extended to the guests.
For those who love the outdoors the YHA is an economical way of enjoying seeing new areas
