Perfect (again)
We stayed in the ground floor room where we watched squirrels in the trees at the bottom of the garden while we ate our breakfast.
As usual Isobel was an excellent host but did not impose on us. Security is really good at Ross House (not that its really needed because its in a lovely safe area) and there was off street parking covered by a camera.
We had our own access so were completely independent and our room had a coffee machine, fridge, microwave and crockery so we could lightly cater for ourselves. The large Tv has every channel you can think of along with Prime & Netflix, there's a huge sofa, king-size bed and beautiful bedding.
En-suite has a rain shower which was just what we needed after our 5 hrs in the car.
My partner and I will be back again later in the year and we wouldnt stay anywhere else. It's so comfortable and relaxing.

What a lovely place/
We stayed in Little Acorns, a luxury bedroom on the ground floor with patio doors out to the peaceful garden where the following morning we saw squirrels running through the trees in the wooded area at the back while we drank coffee. on the decked area.
Back to the room itself, the bed was amazing, 5ft with beautiful Egyptian cotton sheets, a large sofa (very comfy) faces a large tv with FireTv, Freeview, Netflix and a load more. The room has its own kitchenette with microwave, fridge, kettle and Coffee machine. We were even provided with coffee pods, coffee bags , biscuits, chocolates, fresh milk and filtered water in the fridge - all of which was restocked while we were there for 5 nights. window and the cupboards are sticked with crockery if you want to eat. The bathroom is new, spotless, modern and very classy with toiletries and quality loo roll.
Close by are some nice pubs, eateries, takeaways and a large Tesco.
We were staying visiting family and we will definitely stay here again, possibly in January.
BTW, it would be a good place to stay if you are flying from Stansted or working in and around Braintree,
