Great stay, amazing location and view, great staff all around and yummy food!!!! :)

What a lovely hotel, nicely decorated and amazing and friendly staff, feels like a personalized stay and very cozy, especially for a business traveler!! Also food is absolutely great, super delicious and served in the sea view room, very enjoyable! A definite comeback! :)

We lived in Tonga 40 years ago and the Seaview was our go-to restaurant for special occasions. They now have accommodation as well so we booked here based on good reviews. The restaurant was still very good, but the accommodation left a lot to be desired. They advertise a “continental” breakfast as included, but apart from juice and coffee, all that you get is 2 slices of toast with butter and a meager quantity of jam. We paid extra for fruit salad, which was okay, but should have been included when we were paying over AU$400 per night. They give you two small bottles of water on arrival but no daily re-supply - again should be included. Our room (201) needs a lot of work - broken shower, loose toilet seat, badly cracked handbasin, safe not working, wardrobe door very hard to slide - bed was comfortable though.

Absolutely beautiful suite. Clean. Well decorated. Staff was friendly and communicative when needed. Very helpful in coordinating a late check in. Helped coordinate transfer to the airport. Wonderful view of the ocean.

Best place to stay in Nuku'alofa

The Seaview Lodge is more of a taste house than an Inn.
The welcome is warm and there is everything you need to stay a few days on Tonga.
So yes, there are insects because it remains a tropical island. Yes it could be better soundproofed but that is what makes the charm of the house! And yes the breakfast could be more hearty but it is More than enough to start the day!
