Pleasant
My main concerns were the child policy 4 and 9 and the mention of extra charges in some old reviews so we called directly and the studio room was perfect with a sofa and a king bed.
On arrival i must have walked past the office a couple of times before a staff member pointed it out.
The room was spacious aircon very good and clean .
My concern over the prices was due to misinformation on the booking sites i booked the room at the nightly rate and that is the rate you pay no extra there was mention of charges for electric water, linen but i think these are for very long term lets at a hugely discounted price not daily hotel rate
i also had concerns about the pool having children i normally like a kids pool and there was no mention of this. The pool is huge but 1 end is very shallow at least up until the ladder so it suited me perfectly they also had a v big cage with a snow owl eurasian eagle owl at 1 end which the kids love The pool was a little walk away as the firtex residence is on the other side of the main hotel but thats fine
Unexpectedly my kids also took an interest in the Muay Thai and had 2 sessions as absolute novice. I was amazed how friendly the staff were big thanks to Kruu Chao
Normally this hotel is in my area of choice but it seems with the Covid pandemic a lot of things around have closed 7 11 gone next horel gone all the little bars resterants etc in the street at the back gone local houses next to it all empty although this may be to make way for a future building priject. The hotel restaurant was closed but there was a street stall selling Thai food near the gate although it rained a lot during my stay and a lot of mosquitoes around this.
Terminal 21 i is opposite but not somewhere i have enjoyed eating The best supermarket is a 2 min walk a quite good
A lot of food stalls in the back street in the morning but nothing at night so either buy early and microwave or you have to go a bit further
The residence did have a coin operated laundry if i had known before i wouldnt have taken so much baggage it was quite good
I was pleasantly suprised by this place didnt see the staff at all apart from check in and out which was friendly room cleaned when we were out each day
I didnt actually see anyone else around the room and had the pool to ourselves a lot of the time This review was during a time the area was quiet due to covid pandemic

Outdated and mouldy smelling ...
I suppose the accommodations (any of the Fairtex accommodation: hotel, express hotel, residence) are primarily for muay thai practitioners and somewhat studenty. They are building a shopping mall right next door which should open in the near future.
The staff unresponsive maybe because they know they’re getting complaints ! So we just moved onto the next better option.
