In general it was a nice stay, the pros beat the cons. The location, views and service were worth it, even after knowing more about this hotel history.
The hotel is really well located, very close to the island central area and harbors (for tours and ferry). The staff was waiting us by the ferry and helped to carry the luggage back to the hotel. The staff was very friendly in general, except for some on the pool bar.
The stay was very confortable and the view from the pool is stunning! The hotel is old and need some refurbishment, mainly inside the rooms, but it is understandable. Many complaints about the party noises, but I believe there are almost no place in the village to avoid them, the bars exaggerate on the "music" bass level. The hotel supply earplugs to help with it, in case you have difficulty sleeping.
The breakfast was really complete and nice, but the time to refill the stations could be improved.
Another point of improvement may be the cleaning. Unfortunately, we found a insect (seemed like a roach) inside the safe.

Phi Phi Cabana Hotel offers a convenient location, just a 5-minute walk from the bustling main pier. The friendly staff provided helpful service, enhancing our overall experience. The hotel's amenities, including the large pool, were satisfactory.
However, we were slightly disappointed with the cleanliness of the rooms. The room was full of mosquitos upon arrival. While the hotel's location, service, and amenities were commendable, we believe that a higher standard of cleanliness is necessary to fully elevate the guest experience.
Despite this, Phi Phi Cabana Hotel remains a solid choice for those seeking a comfortable stay on Phi Phi Island.

Avoid at all costs !
This is honestly a review that’s being shared so people don’t make the same mistake as us! We booked this as a one night stay to get away from a busy area in Phuket .. we arrived and although the location is spot on and the pool area was overlooking the beach we then checked in to our room.. we also checked straight back out ! The room was like walking back into the 60s with mahogany decor and very basic equipment , we wouldn’t have minded basic for a night however the room was filthy! The floor still had tissues from the previous guests .. the shower door was hanging off , there was still urine around the toilet and the bed hadn’t been made. Literally disgusting to say the least! This was supposed to be a “superior double room” Luckily for us our agent refunded the money but please avoid as your trip of a lifetime will be spoilt if you turn up here .. it’s a shame because with the right work and love it could possibly be one of the best hotels on phi phi .. Do not book!

Decent Stay with Some Great Aspects
We stayed at this hotel in Phi Phi for four nights. There were definitely some positives—the beds were clean, the pool was large and fantastic, and the views of the sea were absolutely stunning. The location was also brilliant, just a three-minute walk from the pier, which made getting around super easy.
However, there were a few downsides. The staff weren’t the friendliest, especially at breakfast, and the rooms didn’t feel very clean, particularly the shower room, which was quite dated. Based on the rooms alone, I’d say this is more of a three-star hotel.
That being said, it had its positives, and for the price, it was one of the more reasonable options for what we needed. Plus, we loved that the hotel looked after cats, which added a nice touch to the experience. Overall, it was fine for four nights but could do with some updates!

Nice Hotel
This is nice hotel with lovely people running it. We had a few issues in the initial instance but were quickly solved and totally satisfied. We read other reviews before staying here and found this place to be probably described as reviewed. Pool and customer service were awesome along with the breakfast. The bars nearby are noisy and don't stop till 2am but it is not terribly bad. Overall I would stay here again
