Good solution
Area approximately 10 minutes walk from the Sagrada Familia and 2 minutes from the Teucan metro.

Favourite place to stay
The hostel is very well located in Barcelona, in walking distance to the center and the beach, not to forget La Sagrada Familia very close and an abundance of restaurants.
I’m a frequent visitor of Barcelona and Hostal Central is my favorite place to stay.

An excellent base to explore Barcelona
(On a side issue: we bought Hola Barcelona tickets for the duration of our stay and this was really useful)
The hotel has been refurbished in recent years and the rooms are comfortable and provide all the basic facilities you would expect. Because our room was at the front of the hotel, there was some road/traffic noise at night.
Nonetheless, it was an excellent base from which to explore Barcelona

Good value
Room small but very comfortable bed, room cleaned each day and plenty of clean towels, toiletries, great shower, all you need for short break. Room just as pictured.
