A beautiful old convent where monks once stayed. Everything is beautifully appointed and the breakfast was a beautiful spread.
The location is outside city center so call an uber to get around. Evora was a beautiful old city and our hotel balcony was a lovely view.

The hotel is gorgeous. But during check in the whole area smelled like fertilizer. Since the hotel is historic, there was a tour offered but we declined because of the smell. We are here in December and the room does not have heat. The room is large and the bed is large and comfortable. If it was warmer and there wasn't fertilizer in the air it would have been lovely.

I loved the location of this property. Not even 10 minutes from Evora. The grounds were beautiful and the indoor pool with sauna and steam room were a nice retreat after a long day touring. The beds were super comfortable and the rooms were well insulated from noise. The staff was very professional and we enjoyed chatting with the bartender in the lounge area - he had very good restaurant recommendations. My massage at the spa was mediocre at best but I am spoiled with my masseuse in the states!
If I ever visit Portugal again I would definitely stay here!

Excellent hotel, very quiet and relaxing environment. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Truly enjoyed our stay and will return.

It’s a stunningly beautiful old building that has been modernized to make it comfortable. One complaint is that the free WiFi is not usable in most places
