Warm Welcome and Large Rooms

The warm welcome we received was a breath of fresh air after a long trip. The lobby is spacious, calm and welcoming with beautiful decor and design features.
The rooms were clean, large, quiet, warm, and thoughtfully decorated with a groovy colour scheme.
The bathroom was huge with lots of bench space and lovely products.
The only downsides were that the room was very dark and needed either more lights or higher watts in the light bulbs. There were no crockery, spoons or glasses provided only paper cups and sticks. This was very disappointing as the room was very luxurious and we felt a bit like a backpacker having our coffee and wine in paper cups (which get soggy very quickly).
There was also no kettle, no tissues and we only had one pillow each. These might be small things but in order to have a comfortable stay , they are important.
However, overall I would recommend this hotel to families with the spacious rooms and bathroom, and easy parking.

Nice place

Located just outside the bustle of the city. against the highway. You don't hear from the highway inside, except when an antisocial rider on a motorcycle pulls open his roar pipe. Large parking lot where the compartments are just not aligned with modern cars, the compartments are too narrow, damage to the doors by thrown open doors of other parkers is large. The rooms are spacious, the beds great. Breakfast is familiar and spacious.

Great hotel where you like to go.

What a beautiful hotel in a great place this is. Nice spacious room ( nr 110) with all facilities. Bathroom has a shower, bath, toilet and vanity unit. Room is equipped with large bed, desk, flat screen , coffee machine, safe, wardrobe, coat rack and air conditioning. Restaurant is large but like the bar nicely decorated. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very extensive and the dinner is fine besides the pasta. Parking is free. We paid about €200 for a room including breakfast.

Nice atmosphere

Great hotel, it was clean and tidy. We sat on the second upper floor and had a clear view over the forest, we were not bothered by the highway past the hotel. Staff very friendly and the food was top notch. There is plenty to do nearby.

Nice place in Friesland to stay wonderfully.

A beautiful hotel with great comfort and a chic look.
Very spacious room with luxurious bathroom and a lovely bed. The bench looks beautiful but leaves something to be desired in terms of seating comfort.
Breakfast buffet is very extensive. Dinners were good.
Customer friendly approach. The, sometimes very young, staff sometimes miss the point.
Location of the hotel on the highway is not disturbing. The beautiful water feature at the front and the park at the side of the hotel give this a nice natural look.
