Very dog friendly
Great friendly room, everything clean, our dog was spoiled with baskets, treats and bowls.
Very friendly staff.
Parking costs expensive, but it would also be cheaper in the nearby area.
Food in the restaurant is good, but the prices are overpriced. A normal, not particularly large burger costs €24.90, which is really excessive. But the quality is very good. The breakfast buffet is also appropriate.
Bed is huge, but the mattress very hard.

No protection against rip-off by the city of Maastricht
On Monday morning at 8:50 it was completely empty in the area, but the city of Maastricht then sends traffic control to collect the concertgoers of A. Rieu with 80€ for nothing. The hotel doesn't feel competent like no one else in Maastricht. Bad aftertaste, therefore poor review

Es tut uns leid zu hören, dass einige Aspekte Ihres Aufenthalts nicht nach Ihrem Geschmack waren. Leider gehört die Straße/der Parkplatz vor dem Hotel nicht uns, sondern der Gemeinde und wir informieren unsere Gäste auch immer darüber, dass es sich um gebührenpflichtige Parkplätze auf der Straße und Kurzzeitparkplätze vor dem Hotel handelt. Leider können wir selbst nicht viel dagegen tun, da dieser Parkplatz nicht uns gehört, aber wir verstehen sehr wohl, dass dies sehr ärgerlich ist.
Trotz dieser Unannehmlichkeiten hoffen wir, dass Sie einen angenehmen Aufenthalt in unserem Hotel hatten, und wir hoffen, Sie in Zukunft wieder im NH Maastricht begrüßen zu dürfen!

Corporate style hotel outside city centre
Location: Hotel is located outside city centre. There is a bus stop outside the door and you can get a bus to central train station and city centre in 15 - 20 mins. There is also a train station (Randwych) about a 5-7 min walk away.
Check in: Hit and miss. When we initially arrived at 12pm we knew that room would not be ready but we wanted to drop off our bags and head out again. Receptionist seemed to be inconvenienced by this and was border line rude. However, thankfully we did get to drop off our bags. Check in later that night and check out the following morning was much more professional.
Room: The triple room was a very good size and comfortable. There was a bath but no separate shower. The shower over the bath was ok.
Facilities: Nice comfortable common area beside reception. There is a self service kiosk to purchase drinks, snack etc. There is a pool and gym but we did not have time to use.
Overall a good value (in comparison to city centre hotels) hotel with good public transport options into the city centre.
