To come back again.

There is a lot to note about the hotel. We found the location perfect, the staff very very friendly and accommodating, the breakfast more than adequate and the room offers what you need. Not the luxury standard hotel decor, but quiet, clean and dark. We had cafe visits and dinner (everything walkable) and got a heat pad with us. The desk is manned day and night. The breakfast was fine, the luggage could be stored and we walked to the museum of our choice. To and from the hotel is a free shuttle to the car park, a great service. Also a discounted parking ticket at the hotel. We enjoyed it very much.

Such a very expired hotel with wrongly 3 stars!!

Such a very expired hotel....... with very small rooms that were last worked on 30 years ago with a shower cabin where the floor and wall tiles shrink. No way 3 stars!! Breakfast very meagre. The only thing that is high is the price. We were tricked by the pictures!!!

Great hotel in terms of location but maintenance needs attention

Single room booked because I went to Jochem Meyer performance. When I opened the room door I was shocked. I found the room very small, old and quite dated. Flooring was also outdated. Bed was small and duvet cover came loose quickly. Room was also cold and in the window is a crack.
Bathroom: shower jet is a bit weak, toilet ran too long, and 1 towel was not clean which hung on the rack.
In itself the hotel is fine also in terms of location but I will not take a single room anymore.
Breakfast was fine. But we ran out of jam. An area for improvement would be to also serve bacon at breakfast.

Great location to explore old Leiden!

I was visiting a friend who lives across the canal so this hotel was ideal. Plus its situated at a lovely dividing point in the canals with restaurants nearby. Include breakfast in their comfortable dining area. The staff were very helpful since I was on the 3rd floor. My mistake asking for 2nd floor, forgetting the "ground floor" is our first floor in the U.S. The staff delivered my two pieces of luggage to my room upon arriving and I had them bring them down upon my check out. Important when you are old!

Great location to explore old Leiden

We stayed in this hotel for a week. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfasts are very good with a large variety of choices. Our room looked out on the canal and we enjoyed watching the action on the water and the street. Very convenient location to explore the old part of Leiden. All within easy walking distance.
