No complaints here , after ready negative complaints

This was our first time In amsterdam and staying at the bilderberg garden hotel after reading very negative reviews I was a little unsure but I have to say the hotel is beautiful the decor is modern our room was beautiful and cery ckean everything worked in the room heating was great as its freezing there , the bed was comfortable and the staff are super friendly especially the young girl on check I'm was amazing full marks and the yound lad on check out they was both very helpful , the only down fall if I'm being picky was the hairdryer is rubbish it blows out pretty much cold air so could do with proper hairdryers in the room not ones like this , if it did i would of gave 5 stars if it wasn't for this and maybe some nice coffee in the rooms as its very strong coffee that doesn't taste nice but when we told them they let us use the coffee machine down stairs so I'm not going to complain about that as i was happy .
The robes and slippers is given on request with no questions asked , the location is slightly out but once you get use to the buses and tram it's simple I would recommend you buy the passes befour hand .
Thank you bilderberg and staff for an amazing stay being helpful friendly you were all great i thought it was a great price breakfast is over priced for what you get but we got a full cooked breakfast out for alot less so again wasn't really a problem

Dear Kelly,
We would like to thank you for this review about your recent experience in our hotel.
We are thrilled that you found our hotel beautiful and our decor to your liking. It is our pleasure to hear that the cleanliness of your room was up to the mark and that you found the heating effective during your stay. We are also pleased that our beds provided you with a comfortable night's rest and that our staff's friendliness made a positive impression on you.
However, we regret to hear that the hairdryer did not meet your expectations. We understand the importance of such amenities and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Additionally, we are sorry to hear that the coffee was not to your liking; we appreciate your honest feedback on this matter. While discussing breakfast, we take note of your thoughts on the pricing and are glad that you found a satisfactory alternative outside.
Finally, we are delighted that you appreciated the convenience of our location and the ease of navigating Amsterdam's public transport system. Our hotel's prime position near the Museumquarter and RAI, along with the efficient access to buses and trams, indeed provides an excellent base for exploring the city.

Unexpectedly good

Hadbtonspend an unplanned night in this hotel. I knew the Bilderberg brand was quite touristic, and at first glance when checking in, this prejudice was confirmed. Friendly but not very professional or courteous. I got a free upgrade and was pleasantly surprised by my room. The way to it was still boring and not at all chique, but once inside my room, I was very happy. Clean, spacious, modern yet cozy and nice view. For thebproce I paid, an excellent room!
Breakfast was good as well.
The other restaurant (for lunch and dinner), which i didn't visit looked horrible. They do have an outside terrace (think justfor drinks), that looked nice, but it's street side and no views.

Dear Eric,
Thank you for taking the time to share your review
We are pleased that you appreciated the unexpected upgrade, along with the comfort, cleanliness, and modern yet cozy decor of your room. It's always rewarding to hear that our guest rooms meet the high expectations we strive for. The quality and spaciousness of our accommodations, complemented by the serene views, are indeed aspects we are proud of.
However, we regret that our restaurant's ambiance did not appeal to your aesthetic preferences. While we are glad you found our terrace inviting, we acknowledge that the view may not be as picturesque as some of our guests might wish for. We are continually working on enhancing our guest experiences, and your comments are invaluable in that process.
Nonetheless, we are delighted that the value you found in our room pricing and the quality of our breakfast offered you a satisfactory experience. Our location in the Oud Zuid area, close to the Museumquarter and business districts, is ideal for both leisure and business travelers, and we hope you had the opportunity to explore the vibrant cityscape of Amsterdam.
We hope we will have the opportunity to see you again in the future.
Best regards,
with warm regards,

Lovely stay in Amsterdam

Hotel is beautiful and rooms spacious. Lovely and quiet so guaranteed a good night sleep. Located a bit out of the way but is walkable roughly 30ish minutes from the centre. Staff are friendly. Would be nice for a stronger hair dryer though. Thankyou.

Disappointing Stay at a Supposed 5-Star Hotel

I had a thoroughly disappointing experience at the Bilderberg Garden Hotel, which claims to be a 5-star establishment but falls woefully short of the mark.
First and foremost, the staff at the reception were incredibly rude and unhelpful. I had emailed the hotel about two weeks prior to my visit regarding an early check-in request, but I never received a response. Upon arrival, I was informed that check-in is strictly at 3 PM. However, my room wasn’t ready until after 4:30 PM, which was highly inconvenient and frustrating after a long journey.
The room itself was subpar. There was no heating, and the central air conditioning was completely ineffective, leaving the room cold and uncomfortable. To add to the discomfort, the hotel lacked basic amenities like an iron, slippers, or proper room service after 9 PM. These are essential services one would expect from a 5-star hotel, but unfortunately, they were absent.
Overall, my stay at this hotel was disappointing, and the lack of professionalism, basic amenities, and poor service made it an unpleasant experience. I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel, as it fails to deliver on its promises and is far from the luxury experience it claims to provide.

Dear 781ajayw,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, we truly appreciate the feedback.
We regret to hear that your stay at the Bilderberg Garden Hotel did not meet the high standards we strive to uphold. Our guests' comfort and satisfaction are paramount, and it is clear that we fell short in your case.
We understand the importance of a welcoming reception, and we are sorry to hear that our staff did not deliver the level of service you expected. Regarding the delay in your room's availability, we aim to have all rooms ready by the designated check-in time, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the wait you experienced.
Furthermore, we are concerned about your comments on the room temperature. Our hotel is equipped with a two-pipe system for air conditioning and heating to ensure a comfortable environment regardless of the season. We also provide portable heaters and fans upon request at reception, and we apologize if this was not communicated effectively during your stay.
We apologize for the oversight in providing the expected amenities such as an iron, slippers, and room service after 9 PM. Our hotel prides itself on offering deluxe accommodations with luxury amenities and 24-hour front desk service to address our guests' needs. It is disappointing to learn we did not live up to this promise during your visit.
The comfort of our guests is of the utmost importance to us and we again apologize and hope that you will allow us the opportunity of providing you with a more enjoyable stay in future.
With warm regards,
Tariq
