Fantastic authentic stay in Meknes

We had a nice stay at this riad in Meknes. The staff was very friendly, the room was fine and the breakfast was amazing. Enjoying breakfast on the roof terrace was the best breakfast experience we had during our 2-week stay in Morocco. We would really recommend, only negative point was the shower, it had no holder.

Absolutely recommended!

We stayed two nights at Riad Selma and had the best time ever! After we were warmly welcomed by Mohammed and his colleagues at the door, we had a coffee on the stunning rooftop and then Mohammed showed us around the medina. The house itself is very beautiful and the rooms were absolutely clean, including AC and even a hot shower. All the staff was so friendly and helpful, we immediately felt very comfortable. They all really cared about our wellbeing and helped us with everything, be it train bookings, pharmacy shopping or general recommendations. They even made us breakfast at 6am before we left and organised a taxi. Meknes has enchanted us and the Riad Selma with its great people has made a big contribution to this. We travel on a little wistfully with great memories and new friendships. Thank you Team Riad Selma!! Absolutely recommended!

place in the middle of traditional central market ..

I arrived with my son in the middle of the day, we had barely crossed about 300 m from the narrow alleys and the opposite shops and the shoppers of the city, following one of the vendors who sent them to the place to guide us. It is my habit that I do not get carried away by children's nonsense, unless there is a real reason.. The bearded young man (Rasheed) opened us with a real smile, and his welcome increased when he knew that we were a father and his son. The upper terrace is a story that is not enough to read, but to experience.

Great Riad for a short stay_Value for money.

This Riad has a fantastic location. Room is clean and bed is comfortable. Wifi is good too and it's value for money. However, the bathroom could be cleaner and it gave out a funky smell. I had looked at one room and changed the room because that bathroom had a smell. Moved to the one I stayed in because the smell was not so bad but it still smelled and in better condition.
Breakfast was so-so but good enough. Coffee was bad. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would recommend this place for a 1-2 nights stay only.

Central location

Very central, the staff will come and meet / find you as you are unlikely to find it! It is literally around the corner from the main square and gate.
Good shower, clean, firm bed. Ground floor is a carpet shop, and if it weren't raining the view from the terrace would have been excellent! Good breakfast, we ate elsewhere in the evening.
