Pleasant stay
For the geographical location, the distances are correct, but by bike...(everything is about 15 minutes) on foot, everything is quite far from everything and with the heat, it is a good thought if you want like me to avoid taxis that are expensive. The hotel lends us a bike for free and honestly, he was really my best friend to visit the city, the coastal area and the archaeological site (I rode the PN twice by bike).
Strengths: The staff is dedicated and courteous (for real). The hotel is clean, everywhere. The rooftop is great and the bar is great. The bedding is also super confo, which is not insignificant for having good nights sleep. I was also given US$10 per day to spend in the hotel, I liked it very much. Free bike even if a little basic as a model (place to improve here), it is hyper-convenient. The hotel is located next to mini shopping center with several shops which can be convenient. Good restaurants are also within a 5-10 minute walk.
Weaknesses: The music too loud from the bar across the street some nights until late but a room further away solved my problem. Average geographical location. Cuisine of the restaurant a little basic, at least lunches because I did not try anything else.
Conclusion: The value for money is very good compared to the resorts and the competition. I recommend the Motto but for 2-3 nights if you really want like me to visit the attractions of Tulum and its surroundings. If it was to be done again I would have taken 2-3 nights in the hotel area for the second half of my stay but I had a pleasant stay!
