Great staff, great location.
Right, Ibis usually have a bad reputation but I did hold that against them and went ahead to book this stay.
There was a little hiccup when checking in but the front desk sorted it out very efficiently. Big shout to Nivaldo!!!!
Room was clean, smelt fresh and bed was very comfy. Can’t say much about the pillow as it was a bit disappointing for me, too flat, but again it could be someone’s favourite, it comes down to preference.
Had some food and drinks at the restaurant which were okay.

A nice stay of 5 days
For our little getaway to discover Luxembourg city and its surroundings we decided to stay at the ibis hotel and were delighted.
Price: 5/5 very affordable compared to hotels in the city centre.
Food: 3/5, we opted only for breakfast and in 5 days they always offered the same breakfast buffet, sometimes they changed the cakes but nothing in particular, but good toast and pancakes; the only flaw: I love cappuccino unfortunately coffee you had to do with the multi-choice machine and if you wanted a cappuccino you had to make espresso plus the addition of milk separately, so it's not really the cappuccino you expect in bars of course; very good fruit juices. Then another flaw, we wanted to have dinner once at the hotel but the dishes they proposed were the same that we had seen for days so we discarded the idea of dining at the hotel.
Staff: 5/5 very friendly, kind and helpful, you can communicate quietly in English.
Convenience of movement: 4.5/5, to get to the airport is really very convenient since it is a short walk; for the city center instead you have to wait for the various buses (free throughout Luxembourg) that run every hour until midnight; then if you rent the car or come by car unfortunately there is no possibility to book the parking space, we were lucky to have found a few places, even in the evening, after returning from the various excursions / exits.
Room: 4/5, small room but right, considering that we were only staying in the room to sleep so we did not give it too much weight; then we do not know how, the last two days the room did not refresh enough, even after putting it to a minimum of cooling and raising the fan level to 3 but all in all it was fine. We really enjoyed the lighting in the room, then if you moved the curtains a nice light came in. The bathroom was spacious but lacked in lighting. Room cleaning: 5/5; the room was always clean and tidy, even towels well folded and changed.
For the rest my boyfriend and I had a really good time, both for the location of the hotel and for the service offered since the cost was really great for a 5 day stay and if we happen again in Luxembourg we will definitely come back here:)

The hotel offer was great in the aspect of price to value ratio, I really liked especially the trip. Com team they are really helpful and understanding I had a booking mistake and they helped me solve it easily. I have never experienced better customers service alway glad to be your customer.

An effort has been made on the recently repainted rooms, but they are not larger.
Not exactly cordial welcome.
And icing on the cake: parking will cost you ten euros , without, of course, the possibility of parking elsewhere!
