The sea in front of you soothes you.

Every time I visited Shishijiki, I was eager to stay in this pension. I can hear the sound of the ocean waves coming from my room, which is very nice. It was a shame that we didn't have much time to enjoy the sea because we were a little late in the check-in time, but we were happy because we could see the sea even from the cold terrace. I'm sure you'll be able to spend more time in the summer. The set-up has everything you need. In the cold weather, you can sleep warmed up with an electric blanket. In addition to air conditioning, it is also equipped with a gas stove, so it is not cold. It's very attractive to wake up in the morning and see the ocean in front of you. Walking along the beach and watching the sea water flow in front of you is very soothing. The rocks by the sea around here are big and worth seeing. Breakfast is elegant with a view of the sea in the dining space next to the beach. American style breakfast, very good. If you want a cake set at tea time, make sure to ask for it when you make your reservation. They'll prepare it for you.

Comfy and warm environment
The room is very spacious, which can house more than 4 people
Great for a group of friends staying in for a longer period of time (which I wish!)
The weather rock nearby is such a high energy spot.

Peaceful Place to Stay

We stayed in a “Family Room” with a view of the bay. The room was bigger than the two of us actually needed, with a bedroom with three single beds, a living room with a couch, coffee table, hassock and small TV. But we wanted to have a view of the water from our room, and this was perfect. There was a large sliding glass door that opened from the living room onto a spacious deck that overlooked the bay. In a separate cabin nearby there is a family hot tub that can be used on a first come, first served basis. The included breakfast was excellent and was made to accommodate our vegan diets. The couple who own/run the pension were friendly and spoke English. Highly recommended.

Pension Shishikui is a lovely alternative type of accommodation. More like a chalet style and the owners are friendly n hospitable.
A simple, basic n clean accommodation.
Breakfast with a view was good n there’s private beach too. Hope to come back again.

This was the most perfect stop on our trip from Kochi City to Tokushima City. A clean, spacious and comfortable room with all the amenities we needed. The highlight was the private bay, where my son and I kicked the soccer ball around and waded in the water. The freshly prepared breakfast was excellent, particularly the homemade An Pan. We wished we could have stayed another night to explore the local area more. We hope to visit again one day, it was lovely to be in nature after travelling the cities. Thank you for a lovely stay.
