Cospa good
It is undeniable that the facilities are old, but it is not unsanitary, you can use the air conditioning for free, and considering the price (3300 yen for a private room), it is enough.
There is plenty of space, but I think there are a certain number of people who use sleeping as their main purpose, so I thought it might have a slightly different atmosphere than the yuntaku on the remote island beyond Ishigaki Island.
I was able to spend a lot of time on the roof with a good view.
If you need to stay on Ishigaki Island due to island hopping connections, if sleeping is OK, I think cospa is very good.

やめた方がいい。Don't stay here.
汚い。枕が臭い。ルームの清掃が治中途半端。
壁が薄い。昭和時代の木造で足音が非常にうるさい。しっかりしてるゲストハウスが沢山あるからここを避けてください。
Do not stay here. The girl in charge is not friendly. She is the owner’s girlfriend and lives there. She clearly does not enjoy interacting with guests and meeting her was not pleasant. It seems like she just likes to live there and does not feel any responsibly to be a pleasant host. The housekeeping is terrible. The place is old and dirty. The sheets and pillow smelled bad. The building is old which means that footsteps are loud. The place is dirt cheap which attracts very dirty people. The pictures on the website are not what the place really looks like. There are endless guest houses in the area where the staff is friendly and attentive to guests. Avoid this one.
