Well-kept rooms, with excellent assistants, ideal location

Both the Domus and the domus with a view from the balcony on the Castello Nuovo, alias Maschio Angioino, are structures born from a group of hoteliers, the Naldi family, excellently represented here by Mr Roberto, exquisitely Neapolitans who manage many prestigious hotels located in Naples, Rome, Lugano and Capri. This structure in Piazza del Minicipio della Neapolis (next to Palazzo S Giacomo or rather the church of San Giacomo degli Spaniards) offers good comfort, cleanliness, sun and good soundproofing but above all an excellent position bordering Via Toledo, the castle and the I carry passengers, but a few tens of meters from San Carlo, Palazzo Reale and Gambrinus (or rather for the substance my absolute favorite café "Caffè del Professore" on the left from the most famous one! A round of applause (in addition to the courteous professionalism of Mr Roberto , the owner) certainly goes to the two handymen/pseudo doormen who with their availability and kindness in perfect efficiency, really ensured a perfect stay, without making you regret a stay in the behind and renowned Mediterranean hotel (now called Renaissance , it's cooler/Tuscany)

It's not really a hotel

The great advantage is that the location is excellent. Otherwise, it is half a floor in an office building and floors where the doorman acts as receptionist. Although they say it has parking, it's actually the hotel down the street from the back. There is no service available. Small room with very improved maintenance. In the photos it seems better than the ones you find, suitable for two nights but no more.

The room looks good and it was clean, the AC was running but not cooling the room, just the fan is blowing that warm air that is trapped in the room, the room was warm because THERE ARE NO WINDOWS TO THE OUTSIDE to get some fresh air, there is only one little window facing a small area inside the building with no ventilation at all, we could not get any sleep

A BIT DISAPPOINTING

On some sites it is mentioned as a B&B, but instead there is an empty fridge without even a bottle of water, I was hoping for at least a kettle where I could make a herbal tea in the evening. Forget breakfast.
Convenient for the center and the surrounding area full of attractions,

Convenient location but no convenient access/check in - happens at another location and no info is provided ahead of time. Won’t be convenient if carrying lots of luggage or with kids/persons with mobility challenges. Also, while room is comfortable, the window has little to no view - feels quite enclosed. Lastly, and probably the biggest concern for my party of two was the inconsistency of the water temperature in the shower. It didn’t get warm until we open the sink tap - and had to leave it open the whole time, even then, the shower continued to switch between really hot and really cold. Not pleasant and not water wise either….
