Had great days in Lovina, in Bali Taman.
Arriving in Lovina after a long car ride we arrived at the hotel.
Lovely hotel with pool, friendly staff, good restaurant, could not be better.
Pura Beji, Brahma Vihara Arama and some waterfalls seen, beautiful.
And for dessert: dolphin excursion, super.

Food and the grounds of the hotel are very good!
Cleanliness: unfortunately my room was quite in need of renovation (water stains on the ceiling), the bathroom could have been cleaned of lime stains on the shower and fittings. The room was cleaned daily, but I often got new linen with more stains. I understand I didn't pay much for the hotel. But cleanliness must be.
Staff: especially the staff in the restaurant and spa area was very friendly. I highly recommend the Balinese massage.
Restaurant: good food. I didn't have a Bali Belly. For breakfast there is no cold cuts, as you would otherwise know from other hotels. There's coffee or tea. Egg dishes, fried rice or pasta and a selection of fresh fruit.
Pool: there are towels, which was very convenient. However, the mats on the loungers are already quite worn.
The grounds of the hotel are very sweet. A little green oasis. With lots of frangipani trees. Wi-Fi had been very good throughout the premises. I had no problems with it.
The beach is really right in front of the hotel, but not particularly clean and parked with boats. For this reason I was only in the water 1-2 times, as it was quite uncomfortable. In addition, you have to expect to be constantly chatted up by street vendors. Partly it never ended because a no vote was not accepted either. You can't really take a relaxing walk on the promenade, as the trail often stops.
I would have liked to use the tennis court, but it was quite unkempt and there was no tennis coach.
The coffee from the strainer carrier machine was excellent!

Two nights in Lovina
Friendly and helpful staff but the hotel is somewhat tired, need little face lift. The beach is not so nice, the pool is small. Rooms are spacious. Okay breakfast.
We stayed there for two nights before moving on to Sanur.
Lovina itself is ok place to be.

Dirty everywhere
It was dirty everywhere the walls was broken there was a hole in the closet the shower and wifi didnt work it was just disgusting
The doors couldn't close all the way a snake could easily get it at night
I would never visit this hotel its not even close to the pictures

Perfect hotel
Near to beach, bathtub, clean room, nice staff, delicious breakfast, free WiFi, complete amenities, reasonable price for 4 star hotels and great location.
Overall we loved our stay and will come back for short getaway
