Reasonably good
This hotel in Ashoka road is not bad. I stayed here for 2 nights. The price is not so high, but for the price I paid, it is not bad. The room is not so big, but quite comfortable, even though lot of scope for improvement in cleanliness. The front desk people were courteous and helpful. The room service was also good.

Basic cleaning. Chair looked dirty as did bathroom mat. Upon leaving found several bugs see photo, which I reported to reception. No hot water or towels provided. We were not given the Wi-Fi password, when my partner tried to request it he was unable to wake the staff member up. The customer service is appalling. I called in advance as we were arriving approx 4am on the 14th of June and queried what day I should book for the 13th or 14th as some places allow early check in with or without an additional fee. The receptionist conversed and spoke good English clarified my arrival time and told me to book for the 14th. Today the manager told us to check out according to our booking stating we booked for the 13th and 14th. When I showed him the dates of our booking the 14th and 15th with check out on the 16th he began shouting. When I showed him my phone log proving I had called the hotel prior to booking he dismissed my complaint about being giving the wrong information. Shouting aggressively at me the receptionist doesn't speak adequate English. This was a lie as the receptionist repeated my question and clarified the arrival time. The manager even told me I was wrong to call the hotel and should of called him. Which makes no sense, and further illustrates that the receptionist had comprehended me, as if there was any difficulties in understanding the receptionist would of given me the mangers number to call. He shouted over me when I suggested he needed to inform his staff of the correct procedure. He refused to let me take a photo of the checking in book which was dated the 14th and not the 13th as he stated, he said I was threatening him by wanting to take the photo. He then said I could check out at 4.27am 48hrs which us not suitable as we wanted to sight see tomorrow and require an undisturbed sleep. We have now booked into Garden City which is better quality. I would never had booked this hotel if I had been provided the correct information as I found out after of other hotels providing an early check in service such as Galaxy comfort instead of wasting money. I would recommend staying else where.

Very Poor Service
The rates are reasonable but the service and room quality is very very poor . The service staffs are very rood and and

Terrible
During my trip to Mysore on 25th December 2015, I had no booking and after landing Mysore came to know all city hotels were sold out, after inquiring many hotels finally got room at Leela. Room was of decent size, dirty. Washroom was dirty as well. Staff was courteous. Hotel is close to Saint Philomena Church. Not a good place to stay.

Terrible Horrible Hotel
It was an unplanned trip. Looking for accommodation in Mysore. accidentally our driver took us on that road. we stopped there and checked 2/3 hotels around. The tariff looked ok, Took a 4 bedded room for 3 Adults and 1 child. Wanted to have a relaxed sleep after 4 days of journey. But was not happy with our stay there. One guy just came in all of sudden. snatched the luggage from me, pretended to be a house keeper there. stepped into the room. He asked if i needed TV. I said no, he still wanted to impress turned it on and ended up blasting the TV with a huge sound and ran away from there. Wanted to turn on the AC, but the AC did not work. Phone was also not working and we got to walk all the way to reception to complain.
Some one came to switch on the AC. After 1 hour of struggle it did not work and they asked us to move to another room. meanwhile the AC started to work all of the sudden. AC was on and off through the night.
The room was big and neat, the toilet was OK. We did not try the restaurant so not sure about the food.
The security of the hotel is an arrogant old man. Who literally pushed us back while me and my dad was standing in front of the hotel. My bad. did not bother about this and decided to stay. He agreed to wash our car for Rs.50. Rather cleaning it, he had used some dirty cloth and made patches of dirt on the glass. Finally started to fight with us demanding Rs.100 and started to curse us that we will die on the way if we dint pay him the money.
One should definitely avoid this place.
