The room and the shared area are clean but one disadvantage is that you can hear each movement from your upstairs or outside your room, even they walked. Besides, the self- service laundry is a bit overpriced for us although maybe I do not have much idea on how the market price in Iceland shall be. The location is quite ok and parking is convenient. And there is sufficient space for the shared area to no matter enjoy your meal or take a rest. By the way, the bed is too soft for us and the amenities in the room is quite simple especially the coat hanger.

The people working there were incredibly friendly, helpful and kind. Lovely breakfast spread, great recommendations. Property was clean and comfortable.

Tiny room with no space to maneuver. The shared bathroom had more square footage than our entire room.
Access to a shared kitchen and living room was nice, i guess.
Breakfast was included, but offering wasn't great. Recommend waking up early and going to Hafnarbudin nearby when it opens.
Wifi speed was atrocious. Reminds me of dialup.

Comfortable, clean guesthouse in Hofn

A great guesthouse, with very clean bathrooms, comfortable bedrooms, and a very large kitchen, dining and living room. The proprietor is very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. We couldn’t recommend it more highly.
Very close to the marina with a few wonderful restaurants and a brewery!

Old Airline Guesthouse was wonderful to stay during our Ring Road Trip in Iceland. It was super clean, cozy, and beautiful. My family greatly enjoyed staying at this place. I strongly recommend!
