An individual experience with nostalgic charm
A private parking space is missing, but in the immediate vicinity there is a cheap option for 2 euros per night (until 9am). For dog owners, the hotel is a good choice – pets are allowed and welcome, which was especially important to us.
The 1950s building has a historical charm, which is reflected in many details, especially the brass luster. The individually colourfully designed hallways are real eye-catchers. However, the house is getting old and is due for renovation in the coming years, which should include carpets and sanitary facilities. One room is still in its original state of the 50s – a great relic I would have liked to see. It should be open, sealed with plexiglass as an exhibit to allow everyone to travel back in time, rather than continue to rent it out.
The breakfast area overlooking the busy passage and the listed lobby are real highlights. There are cosy seating, books, games and some exciting exhibits – a wonderful place to stay. Complimentary water, tea, coffee and even lemonades (from 2. Bottles € VB) are a very nice extra. Diversity is also a priority for food: There are not only vegan, but also vegetarian options.
The rooms are equipped with everything you need as a guest: Detailed information on excursion destinations, restaurants and other activities make planning on site pleasant and straightforward. Why don't you put out the wool blankets in winter, so it's easier to find them?
Overall, a hotel with nostalgic flair and potential that seems to become a real gem after the renovation. For us, the combination of location, animal-friendly policies and the special charm was decisive – a great experience!

For a short stay is good and the personal is really friendly.
We were 3 and the sofa-bed was a bit to hard, for a short stay is ok but more than 2 nights requires a confortable bed.

Unusual!
Great idea, the historic hotel
upcycle (is there the word?!....).
Very accommodating and friendly staff. Tea, coffee and water freely available, breakfast vegetarian (sufficient for me). There is much to see and read. I was feeling good.
The location right in the city center is unbeatable!
