The Xi’an Hua Qing Palace Hotel & Spa (Xi’an Huaqing Yutang Jiudian) is situated in Hua Qing Palace scenic area. My wife and I came here for our first anniversary and it was worth every dollar spent. The hotel was gorgeous and super clean. Our room was decorated with rose petals spelling out “1 year” on the bed and a trail of petals to the personal hot spring tub. The bathroom has two sink basins with tall mirrors. The shower is a rainfall shower. The toilet has a glass door which was a little weird but the bathroom had a solid wooden door.
Cleaning staff comes every day at a time that works for you to sanitize and organize everything. The mini fridge comes packed with a variety of drinks that are refilled for free every day. We were given a rotating plate of fresh fruits every day. At night time, they provide good night soup and turn on the personal hot spring tub.
During the day, you can visit the outdoor hot spring in a secluded area. The minerals in the hot springs made our skin so soft and healthy looking. We did a spa treatment too which was very relaxing. They were very accommodating with finding a time that worked best for us.
The breakfast buffet was excellent. Mostly Chinese breakfast with many delicious dishes to choose from. The restaurant was in a different building on the Huaqing Palace grounds. Easy to walk to but they also can drive us in a kart to and from it. You can also come and go to the Huaqing Palace grounds too!
The staff was very friendly and accommodating even with a language barrier. They helped us arrange laundry services to be delivered to our room. They went and picked up our tickets to the Song of Everlasting Sorrow (great show). The housekeeper, Deng Xiaohui, was wonderful and gave us parting gifts when we checked out.
5/5. Highly recommend. We hope to be back next time we visit Xi’an.

... Thank you for choosing and checking in! Huaqing Yutang integrates the design concept of the New Tang Mansion with the Huaqing Mansion Scenic Area. You can come and go freely with your hands. The hot springs originated from an authentic ancient source at the foot of Mount Canapore and have a history of more than 6,000 years. You don't need to stand in line to watch the evening performances of The Long Hate Song. The staff will personally pick you up and drop you off at the performance venue and wear a palace lantern to ensure your viewing experience. Your housekeeper is very happy when he sees the good reviews! Recommend us to your family and friends if you wish. Welcome to stay here!

Service by hotels staff were excellent. From housekeeping to front desk all was superb. Being served like VIP. For Chang Hen Ge tickets, the got us seats with excellent view, right in the centre. They even prepared snow fungus pear dessert for winding down, it was delicious . Love the tea they served here. For private hot spring, they will disinfect the tub and later fill up with hot spring water. All in all very satisfied with our stay. The only thing they need to add is towel hook at the bathroom to hang towels.

Huaqing Imperial Soup is separated by a wall from the Huaqing Palace with the design concept of the new Tang Palace, living here is like being in the prosperous era of the Tang Dynasty thousands of years ago, the hot spring originates from the pure original soup at the foot of Lishan Mountain, which has a history of more than 6,000 years, with a constant temperature of 43 °C all year round, which is very suitable for vacation and leisure~ Thank you for your affirmation of the hotel service~ Huaqing Imperial Soup has many small surprises worth exploring, you are welcome to come and feel it often!

The service was amazing, with the staff helping me with my bags as well as explaining how to use any of the amenities offered, being consistently patient despite by subpar Mandarin. The actual site itself is picturesque and the atmosphere is serene and peaceful - a perfect atmosphere for a hot spring hotel! I unfortunately didn’t get a chance to use the larger hot spring pool, but the small private one I had access to was stellar and very soothing! I’d highly recommend to anyone in the Xi’an area.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel, especially with the private access to Hua Qing Palace.
Our hotel package includes the Song of Everlasting Regret performance, and it was absolutely worth it. The package included excellent seats that provided an optimal view of the performance, allowing us to fully enjoy the stunning visuals and captivating storytelling. It made for a truly unforgettable evening.

The hot springs originate from the pure ancient source at the foot of Mount Li and have a history of more than 6000 years. You don't need to queue up for the evening performance of the Song of Everlasting Sorrow. The staff will personally pick you up and drop you off at the performance venue with palace lanterns to ensure your viewing experience. If you like, please recommend us to your family and friends. The hotel arrival experience was average; some staff members were friendly, while others came across as quite stern. The person who assisted with my luggage seemed a bit unfriendly, which made me hesitant to ask him any questions. The rest of the staff were generally fine, though. I appreciated the birthday cake and the decorations in my room, which certainly added to the experience. However, the overall warmth and hospitality from the staff were lacking. One moment that I found slightly insulting was when a staff member asked me if I had taken their hotel room pouch while I was waiting for my taxi to my next hotel. It felt as though they suspected me of theft. Additionally, the hotel did not provide basic amenities like a toothbrush and shower caps, and I was too fatigued from jet lag to request them. Fortunately, I had packed my own toothbrush.
Restaurant:
The restaurant staff provided a much better service than the hotel staff. They were polite and accommodating, in contrast to the person who assisted me with my luggage and drove the golf cart. His tone was quite off-putting, making him seem unapproachable and even confrontational at times.
Facilities:
The bathroom was somewhat dated, with some corners showing signs of mold. The room itself was a bit dimly lit.
The highlight of my stay was definitely the private onsen and the performance of "长恨歌!" 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The money spent was well worth it for the private onsen and the VIP tickets to the "长恨歌" show! It was truly a fantastic experience and well worth seeing.
