Minimal needs satisfied. The receptionist is nice and can speak english. Recommend for solo travellers who dont want to spend too much money on 1 night stay. I transit in Shanghai for 1 night (19hrs), decide to go to the city, walk around the center and stay here. Really near the habour and station. Good!

Our stay was a good start for our journey in Shanghai. The location is good, right in downtown China. The rooms are pretty small and if you don’t put on the ventilator in the bathroom it starts stinking a bit. Besides we had free water in the room and a really cozy blanket. Thank you!

It was scary to go into the room, it was really small, the charger near the bed didn’t work. So think carefully whether to stay there or maybe to find a hotel or another accommodation. But the location was good.

When we only arrived, the room was very dirty. A woman came to clean it up only 2 hours after we checked in. It made our first impression really negative.
By the way, the main advantage of the hostel is its location. Right near the bund, it is convenient for travelers.
