Excellent hotel with excellent service and at reasonable price. Very conveniently located downtown near shopping malls and eating outlets. The Wuyi Road 五一路 metro exit A is just outside the hotel. The staff are very courteous and attentive. Would stay here again when I next visit Kunming.
The only negative is that taxis cannot stop directly in front of the hotel entrance but about 50-100 metres away.

Highly recommended to all Muslim brothers & sisters. Strategically located. Kedai makan halal & masjid memang dekat je. Metro pn dekat. Bilik pn besar dan selesa. Cuma toilet ada privacy concern skit. Toilet berkaca tutup dgn blind curtain je and the curtains control pula dari luar. So kalau korang berada di dalam, org luar boleh buka. Kepercayaan penting ya. But in short, stay here kalau nk enjoy makanan dan nk p solat.

The strategic location of the hotel is a plus point. Right behind the hotel is Shuncheng mosque. Plenty of muslim restaurant and pastries shops available. And 10 mins walk to Kunming old city

The Crystal Orange Hotel is an excellent choice, especially for Muslim travelers. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Kunming, with the Halal Street just behind the hotel. This made finding delicious food incredibly convenient, and Kunming truly felt like a food paradise for us.
The hotel is surrounded by malls and shopping areas, so everything you need is within walking distance. We didn’t even have to use Didi during our stay—it’s that convenient.
As for the hotel itself, it’s clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The highlight for us was definitely the location. It made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. This will absolutely be our go-to hotel whenever we return to Kunming. Highly recommended!
