This is a beautiful property in a good area next Walmart close to a mall with many dining options. The from desk is professional . The breakfast very good. It is to get into the highways from the hotel. It was an excellence choice for on my way to Niagara Fall from Detroit

Disappointed and went home instead

Hoped to spend 4 days here as a getaway with my partner, but we felt unconfortable as soon as we checkeg into room 602.
We were disgusted to find smears on the wall, gunk on the kitchen cabinets, goop on the TV stand, and food on carpet.
The walliaper had been knifed open behind the bedroom TV, the carpet was delaminated from the baseboard, and somw kitchen drawers wouldn't open without getting stuck on each other.
We understand the hotel is currently renovating, and hasn't gotten to floor 6 yet.... but that still doesn't excuse leaving food and smears around the room.
Staff offered us a different room, but no discount.
Paid a 1-night penalty to cancel our stay and go home, where at least we know the walls, floor, and kitchen are clean.

Room for improvement!

I booked a King suite and upon checkin, was put in accessible room with no desk/chair for working on with my laptop. I tried to have the room switched to the category I selected but was told the hotel was sold out. The staff brought up an extra small dining table and a chair from their ballroom but as it turned out, in the accessible room, the only ethernet connection was at the small, square dining table.
The bed was hard, and I've noticed that two separate Homewood Suites had repurposed old bed skirts as a sheet on top of the regular sheet and a thin duvet cover (pocket style) over top.
There was no luggage rack, no way to stream to either tv and the room smelled heavily of Fabreze.
This is also a fairly noisy location. When I compared the same suite at Springhill Marriot (they share the same lane way), money is probably better spent at the Marriot.
The free breakfast was alright!

The room was neat. Bed wasn't that comfortable. Older room and furnitures. Setting was good.
Breakfast food was amazing with varieties.
Hot tub and pool was very clean. Relaxing.

It’s a run down building that could use some updating. Room was not the cleanest. Bedding has holes and tears
