Solid Motel style hotel.
Location and surroundings:
From the Royal Oak Skytrain station you can walk there in about 12 minutes – enough time to wonder why you paid so much for the room again. Right around the corner, there is a 7-Eleven, after all, in case the hunger needs to be satisfied quickly. Several Asian restaurants are waiting across the street from the hotel – they’re simple, but that can be charming. A real supermarket? Misrepresentation.
Rooms:
The rooms are pleasingly spacious, just like the beds. The sink is located outside the bathroom – convenient if you want to brush and shower in parallel in the morning. The shower itself? Well, a little more water pressure would have been good for her, and she was getting rather leisurely warm. But hey, this seems like a classic in North America! The refrigerator in the room, on the other hand, was highly motivated – so motivated that it made loud operating noises all night.
Service:
The check-in was pleasantly uncomplicated and fast – just as you would wish. The staff was friendly and helpful, so no complaints here.
Gastronomy:
Breakfast exceeded my expectations! There were a few hot dishes every morning, such as bacon or sausages, which took turns, plus cereal, fruit and co. Especially exciting: a waffle iron and a pancake machine – the dream of every breakfast lover! Definitely more than solid for a two- to three-star hotel. Breakfast was served in the hotel's Chinese restaurant.
Fitness and pool area:
The gym is small and the range of equipment is limited – but who needs training on holiday? The small outdoor pool was available, but the cool September weather has put a dent in his mind. At these temperatures it could be considered more of a decoration.

This is a MOTEL, not a hotel!
I have been a loyal customer of BW for years, and I will never, ever book at one of their hotels again. So disappointing, as I’ve never had anything but positive things to say about our stays as various BW HOTELS (not motels) before.

Affordable overnight stop before cruising
Breakfast was included and very good.
The hotel staff were friendly and there were many guests who were staying there that were cruising the following day as we were.

An ideal WBP: home away from home!
You can ask them without any problem what we are missing: for example, an electric kettle, plate and cutlery, as well as tea without caffeine.
The housekeepers are also welcoming, flexible with their hours and the rooms smell clean and are clean.
I use the restaurant for breakfast only. It is nice to hear the waiters greet you with gratitude: "you are back" with a big smile!
All in all, I recommend this BWP to any traveler who would like to rest in peace in a clean place, and an atmosphere of peace and respect!
