Not much to do in the area

The room was very spacious, nicely decorated and very clean. The sheets were crisp and the mattress was very comfortable. The heating in the room was fantastic. The bathroom was big and clean.
We did not try the spa facilities so i cannot comment on that.
The problem with this hotel is that there isn't much going on in Ribaritsa. There was no info around activities in terms of sightseeing.
Reception service was poor. For example, we were not greeted enthusiastically. When we asked about spa services, we were almost told off by the receptionist. Upon checkout, they did not wish us a pleasant trip home or anything.
We dined at Star Merak which was wonderful. After dinner we decided to have a drink at the hotel. We had two options: the restaurant or the bar. The restaurant chairs and tables were uncomfortable, but drinks were very cheap. The ambience was poor. The bar was empty and looked like a messy basement.
Breakfast was uninspiring but OK. They should have offered more types of the local fried bread.
Overall, the hotel is clean and has got great potential, but our experience was below average.

Looks pretty but rather average overall

We stayed for one night in a first-floor room which was a little small but seemed to have most of the facilities needed. The decor was clean and pleasant. The bed was very uncomfortable. We dined in the hotel restaurant in the evening and I was very disappointed. The menu was small and lacking the sort of variety and flair I had hoped for. Service was average at best.. I was served the wrong dish and when the right one arrived it was swimming in oil.
We wouldn't go back again I'm afraid. Certainly not at their high prices.

Good basic hotel, but not real spa experience

Very basic rooms even clean. However, the indoor pool is rather jacuzzi than a swimming pool. The space around the indoor pool is not very clean. The spa facilitie are also very basic and not in very good shape. The breakfast is very modest. The food in the restaurant is really good but the restaurant itself is realy disappointing - smells as in the kitchen. In general, 6 out of 10.

Relaxing Hotel

A very cozy Hotel with all what you want for a relaxing weekend : outdoor pool ,indoor pool ,sauna, nice surrounding ,good food ,low prices . The hotel stuff its very kind but they don't speak English very well.

Bad food

Great place to visit, the hotel's rooms are OK warm during the winter .. but the food at the hotel restaurant is awful. There is a free WiFi but the connection is poor. The indoor pool is actually not a pool but its rather a big jacuzzi
