Outstanding Hotel

We enjoyed staying at this beautiful and well maintained property. The entire team delivered outstanding customer service, especially Frau Hofer at the reception desk. I loved the beds, they were very comfortable with top quality mattresses and clean. Breakfast was also very good with delicious food and great service. Thank you again for making our stay memorable.

Dodgy

The house is bright and airy built, very clean. Staff friendly and accommodating. The food is extremely good. So far the positive. Our bed was as hard as a board. After the second night, my companion, who has problems with the discs, struggled to get out of bed. Both of us slept very badly. The "spa" in the name is really exaggerated. Apart from the physiotherapy treatments, there is a small indoor swimming pool, a kind of whirlpool, a 55 degree "bio" sauna and an 85 degree sauna, an infrared cabin and a steam bath. Seems like an outdoor pool, too, but this is packed in winter. The saunas are for us passionate sauna-goers rather in the "to forget" area. In both, there is a kind of automatic infusion (without noticeable increase in humidity) that you can only hear but not see, let alone determine the intensity yourself. More like a kind of well-heated waiting room with no experience. All our fellow guests have been angry about it. What also bothered us was a ton of fresh bath towels for free use in the wet area. As a result, some bathers throw entire mountains for laundry during the day. Environmentally rather objectionable.

Unfortunately no sensitivity or understanding of the situation

Please don't get sick after you've booked. Unfortunately, it happened to me (you could have known earlier that you were going to get sick, right?) Unfortunately, I couldn't start my stay, but this time I didn't take the blame - despite calling and explaining the circumstances, they happily sent me a cancellation fee invoice! Of course, I will happily pay for my "non-stay" - I wish THIS SPECIAL HOTEL all the best for the future and will certainly NEVER consider having to book a room there again!

Five Stars for this Excellent Hotel, Top Restaurant and Wonderful Team!

This is an outstanding hotel in a beautiful location. We especially enjoyed our week here, starting with the immaculately clean and spacious rooms and excellent bedding. The staff throughout the hotel were kind and helpful. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant definitely earned Five Stars for the relaxing ambience, consistently delicious local specialties perfectly made from highest quality local ingredients, and truly exceptional service by a great team! We can't wait to return, and thank the entire Bruendl Team for making our stay memorable! Very highly recommended, we will definitely visit again.

Very nice, modern hotel in the Mühlviertel

The hotel is very new and in a modern style with a big atrium and modern art decoration. The rooms are quite big and well equipped, shower is open (glass separation only). What we liked most was the good restaurant for breakfast and dinner: products are mainly from the region with exact information from which farm they are sourced. The wellness area is also very new and with a lot of space, pools (esp. outdoor) are not big but ok.
