Very good choice for LRE particularly from train

Arrived out of office hours by train. (Sunday) All self check in instructions provided as stated by email in advance of arrival.
Stayed for 2 nights.
Everything in the room as described. No issues encountered!
Did not meet any management. Handed room key back to a staff member on leaving.
Would recommend staying here particularly if you don't have a vehicle.

Comfortable, but could be better

This motel has some nicely renovated rooms and is quiet and comfortable. It is very centrally located - within walking distance to all amenities in Longreach. Ample car parking is available onsite. However, for the price we paid I had expected a little more. The “King suite” is just a room with a king size bed. The stairwells and walkways were untidy. While the pool looked inviting, when we explored it to make use of it, we were horrified to find it rather dirty, with multiple bloated, rotting frogs floating in the water. The stench of rotting flesh was awful. We decided to drive to the local council pool and paid to swim there.
As February is the low season and it is very hot in Longreach at this time of year, it was a relief that the air conditioning and roof fan in the room were in good working order.

great location, dated but comfortable

• Dated but comfortable room
• Queen-size bed & single bed
• Original tired, but clean ensuite – great water pressure & temperature
• Conveniently located walking distance into town
• Great amenities in the room – tea/coffee facilities, bar fridge, microwave & TV with study desk (great if you need to catch up with work)
• Good access with parking outside your room undercover

Stayed one night,room clean,comfortable,TV a bit difficult. Big plus is right opposite Rail station,so good if you travel by the great train.Spirit of the Outback.

Great location , close to everything . Across the road from the train station . Swimming pool was lovely . Room was spacious . The only issue was a lack of drawers to put anything away and the only hanging space was above the kettle and toaster which was very strange ! Apart from that we enjoyed our stay there . Our room was very clean and cleaning staff friendly and helpful.
