The motel room was clean and tidy and comfortable.
The cabin was a work in progress. The main bed has slats as base and collapsed and needs maintenance. The bathroom and kitchen are relatively new and very clean. The other bedrooms are cluttered and not comfortable. The tv needs attention, behind the couches are stored pieces of timber.

We booked this motel at the last moment because it was the only available pet-friendly place in Ballarat. We were very pleased with the experience. The reception was welcoming, the location handy on the main road into town (but quiet). The room was clean and well-supplied, with modern TV, fridge, microwave, and plenty of fresh bedding and towels. We'd definitely stay here again.

This property is well out of town so is removed from sources of food. A selection of order and deliver menus are available but the plates supplied to serve and eat the food were inadequate. But this seems to be a common situation for motels in this price range that includes a microwave in their facilities.
A good feature is the cost free laundry. Although the dryer was a bit slow it was would be churlish to complain as free laundry facilities are not common at motels.
But the room was clean and the bed comfortable with the room quite a good size for a couple.
