Ideal base to go to the falls

This hotel is in a perfect private setting in the rain forest. Around the pool we spotted a wide selection of birdlife - Toucans, humming birds etc. In the restaurant breakfast was fairly standard. For the evening meal the empenadas were OK and the steaks were lovely. Overall the menu was limited with a poor wine and gin selection.

The place is cute like the photos, however it is very run-down. The pool was dirty and we both got bitten by bedbugs. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. No one speaks english, the breakfast was great

MUY MAL HOTEL.

The hotel without maintenance, we arrived 21:50 hs with notice. They gave us the dirty room, the bathroom basket with papers and wipes from the previous guests, a total lack of love!!! We wanted to eat at the hotel, and we were told that the kitchen closed at 10pm, when in the brochure with the hotel regulations it says very clearly that it closes at 11pm. Staff lacking in warmth. Lack of maintenance in the rooms with noises on the doors and hot water was totally out of the ordinary, it came boiling as if to peel a chicken. At the time of breakfast, there were no staff and dishes were missing to serve, I had to go and get the staff to set the dishes. We decided to have dinner, looking out for a major storm and I ordered a chicken stuffed with vegetables accompanied by a beetroot risotto. What I didn't know and they did, is that the food was in bad shape. I caught a breakdown in the early morning as a result of the bad state of this food, in subsequent days I had blisters on my arm and pain in the elbow, the product of intoxication. If they order that food, they're guaranteed to hang on to the toilet for a while. They are LACKING IN LOVE!!! They should do something else and not harm people like that. Another issue is the internal path to get to the hotel, it is a race track, respecting absolutely nothing of the vegetation and the animals that cross. We have seen motorcycles loaded with bags of potatoes of 50kg each at an important speed, a total delusion. NEVER AGAIN IN THIS HOTEL, WHICH IS MISSING THE MAIN THINGS. AMOR.

Caution

Beautiful place very nice hotel but pity that in the room it smells a lot of moisture, too bad that the engine of the Air Conditioner is on the private terrace of the room so we can not enjoy it and limiting hygiene I think because stained sheets but clean anyway. And apparently the hotel is not maintained. It’s a shame because the place is beautiful. There is also a swimming pool. The restaurant is not good.

It’s very beautiful and closer to the Brazilian border. You have to be comfortable with the sounds of the birds and animals you would be as it’s in a jungle surrounding.
The food from the restaurant is pretty tasty too.
